In Kiel, two young people are suspected of having killed a 22-year-old friend.
According to a statement from the police and the public prosecutor's office, the act happened on Saturday evening.
The victim died shortly after eight.
The two alleged perpetrators, aged 15 and 17, had visited the man in his home.
In the stairwell it is said to have come to a fatal argument.
Residents informed the police and rescue service.
However, attempts at resuscitation were unsuccessful.
The 15-year-old was arrested on site.
The 17-year-old fled initially, but presented himself to the police that night accompanied by a defense lawyer.
Both suspects are in custody.
In the afternoon they are supposed to be brought before a judge.
For tactical reasons, the investigators did not want to disclose how the victim died.
A spokesman for the prosecutor emphasized that it was extraordinary that such a serious accusation should be made against a 15-year-old.
