They were sold nationwide in hardware stores and at the discount chain Netto *.

As reported by the “produktrueckätze.de” portal, authorities had already complained about “abnormalities in the permeability of the filters” at the end of January.
However, "Brüder Mannesmann" did not make this information public until March 12th via the EU warning system.
