(ANSA) - MILAN, MARCH 22 - An expanse of colored folders, laid on the ground in front of the Milan Cathedral, and the sound of dozens of bells asking to go back to school in person, as soon as possible.

The world of school, teachers, parents and pupils of all ages, took to the streets in Milan and in other 34 cities as part of the event promoted by ReteScuola in presence to ask for a return to the classroom.

In particular in Rome the demonstration took place in Piazza delPopolo, while in Trieste the protest was in the Unioned'Italia pizza.

In Piazza Duomo in Milan, boys and children, accompanied by their parents, brought their backpacks, on each folder a message for the institutions: "for the Government, boys don't exist", "we can't wait any longer, the bell must ring", "this backpack is full of anger, "enough Dad", to name but a few.

And then a big "Health starts from school" banner and lots of white balloons.

Unbambino also drew himself intent on following a lesson in dad and above him a fire-breathing dragon representing the premier.

At the sound of dozens and dozens of bells, shaken by the hands of the demonstrators, the square in Milan asked to go back to class "so that the school will be present".

"We are fed up with the inertia of institutions on this issue even after a year - explained Mario Pau, of the A Scuola committee - and we want an immediate guarantee that it will soon return to face-to-face teaching".

In the square there are families, mothers and fathers who try every day to reconcile the teaching and distance of their children with their work commitments.

"What we must protect is the mental health of the children - explained Anna Acuti, mother of two children -. The children in dads are isolated and their age is not good".

What many parents claim is that "school is not a source of contagion - as explained by Selma De Mitri, mother of four - my children cry every day because they lack social life, one of my children has lost love for the studio he had before, because dad is frustrating. "

In the square anchel'assessore school of Buildings of the City of Milan Elementary emaestro, Paolo Limonta: "I want the schools venganoriaperte after Easter and I hate that my children vedanoin class I to do distance learning while they are at home.

But then outside there are full sidewalks and half-full ones and only they have to stay at home. "
