Last November, Bobby Brown Jr. was found dead - now it is clear what the son of the US musician Bobby Brown died of: according to coroners from an accidental overdose of drugs, medication and alcohol.

His death was classified as an accident.

According to the autopsy, cocaine and the strong pain reliever fentanyl were found in the 28-year-old's body.

The report from the authority in Los Angeles was available to the dpa news agency.

The body of Bobby Brown Jr. was discovered at his Los Angeles home on November 18.

He is the son of Bobby Brown from his relationship with Kim Ward.

In 2015 his daughter Bobbi Kristina died from her marriage to music legend Whitney Houston.

According to forensic medicine, two factors led to the death of the 22-year-old: drug poisoning and the fact that her face was in the bathtub for a long time.

Houston, whose 15-year marriage to Brown ended in divorce, was found dead in a bathtub three years earlier.

Cocaine was found in the singer's blood.

Brown has had legal problems in the past.

The R&B singer is said to have been violent towards Houston, which he denies.

The 52-year-old has been arrested many times for alcohol and drugs.
