Oscar winner Gwyneth Paltrow says she has learned important lessons from her divorce.
“I never wanted to get a divorce,” said the 48-year-old in a podcast by actress Anna Faris about the separation from Coldplay singer Chris Martin in 2016. “In theory, I never wanted to not be married to my children's father.
But I learned more about myself through this process than I could have imagined. "
Just because she focused on self-responsibility, "I was then able to find the most amazing man and build something with Brad [Falchuk], my husband, that I never had before."
He encourages them to deal with their problems and to develop themselves.
The couple has been married since 2018.
Paltrow and Martin have two children together: daughter Apple is 16 years old and son Moses is 14.

Paltrow had already stated in a podcast in 2017 that it had been difficult for her to have a romantic relationship for a long time.
"I'm a pretty good friend and a good sister and mother," she said.
But she failed as far as the romantic part was concerned.
Before her marriage to Chris Martin, Paltrow was in a relationship with Brad Pitt and Ben Affleck, among others.
Her relationship with Martin is better than ever today, as she revealed in an interview in September 2020.
"We have this idea that after a breakup we can no longer love the things we once loved about each other, but that's not true." You end a marriage, but you remain part of a family.
Paltrow, who fell ill with Covid-19 early in the pandemic and still suffers from the long-term effects today, is one of the most successful actresses in Hollywood.
She is both a Golden Globe and an Oscar winner.
Among other things, she worked in the films "Sieben" (1995), "Shakespeare in Love" (1999), "Iron Man" (2008) and "Spider-Man" (2017).
