(ANSA) - BEIJING, MARCH 24 - Hong Kong and Macao have announced their stop using the Pfizer / BioNTech coronavirus vaccine, after being informed of a packaging problem in a batch of vials.
"For precautionary reasons, the current vaccination must be suspended during the investigation phase," the Hong Kong government said in a statement. The move matured after the report of Fosun, the Chinese pharmaceutical company that distributes the Pfizer / BioNTech vaccine in China. The vials of the eight 210102 have defective packaging, the authorities said, without specifying the nature. Hong Kong and Macau have excluded health risks. (HANDLE).
