This was stated by Check Point Research, the Threat Intelligence division of Check Point Software Technologies, according to which some alleged 'drugs' against the virus can also be found on the same sites.

That the issue has attracted the attention of cybercriminals is also confirmed by recent reports of attacks on EMA, the European drug authority, aimed precisely at stealing documents on vaccines.

After those of Pfizer, those of Moderna would also have been the subject of attack, as the same company said.

When Check Point Research communicated with a supplier, the latter made it clear that they were selling an unspecified Covid-19 vaccine for 0.01 BTC (about $ 300), stating that 14 doses were needed. " Cyber ​​threats related to vaccines, the company adds, also run on the traditional web: "In addition to trying to sell fake Covid-19 drugs and vaccines, attackers are also using the latest news as bait for their phishing campaigns."
