Birkat Tzafira offers one of the best water trips in the Judean Desert.

Beacon Car Park - UK Park: Stay in the center

When everyone travels to the edges of Israel - from north to south, it can be refreshing to stay in the center of the country.

The UK Park in the South has a number of free overnight car parks, the best known of which is the Beacon car park.

Goren Park: In the heart of the Galilee forest

One of the most beautiful corners of the Western Galilee comes in the form of Goren Park - a great space for hiking, swimming, picnics and also accommodation for nature lovers.

Here, high above Nahal Kaziv, about 2,000 dunams of green spaces await you, where hiking trails have been marked.

Getting there:

The main entrance to Goren Park is about a kilometer east of Kibbutz Ayalon (access from road 899).

It is advisable to arrive at a reasonable time to grab a good spot.

Morning hike:

descent to Nahal Kaziv and walk along it to Ein Tamir.

A shorter option is to descend to the creek route and climb to the Monfort Fortress.

Har Yehoram overnight campground: A parking lot from the Journal

The reason we refer to Mount Yehoram overnight parking lot as a "parking lot from the Journal" is its momentum of development and upgrading, which has recently made it one of its kind.

North of the Ma'ale Eilat road, about 2.5 km east of the Netafim checkpoint.

Morning hike:

A relatively new hiking trail awaits you in Nahal Shlomo. This is a circular route that includes a great view of the Eilat mountains and the Gulf of Eilat. The route is about 4.5 km And the level of difficulty is medium.
