In Berlin, the left-wing scene protested against the eviction of the trendy pub »Meuterei«, whose lease had expired.

Around 400 demonstrators have gathered in Kreuzberg, as a police spokesman said.

The officials are prepared for a larger mission, reports the broadcaster RBB.

According to the police, twelve demonstrations have been registered for Thursday.

You want to be in action with a total of up to 1100 people.

There were protests on Wednesday evening.

According to the police, up to 1200 participants marched through Kreuzberg and Friedrichshain under the motto "We are ungovernable - defend mutiny & Rigaer 94".

Participants are said to have burned down pyrotechnics, physically attacked officials and threw stones.

The police provisionally arrested seven participants.

In addition, the officers wrote a total of 22 criminal charges for acts of resistance, attempted release from prisoners, insults and attempted dangerous bodily harm.

But the police themselves are also being criticized.

Among other things, it involves the temporary arrest of a photographer.

Jörg Reichel from the German Union of Journalists wrote on Twitter of a "brutal" attack by the Berlin police on a journalist.

A video that is supposed to show the scene is circulating on social networks.

According to »Tagesspiegel«, the photographer tried to document the arrest of a demonstrator when he was grabbed by the arm by a police officer.

The video shows how another officer apparently tears off the mouth and nose protection of the man who is shouting that he is from the "press".

A spokeswoman for the Berlin police told the »Tagesspiegel« that the photographer was allegedly too close to the emergency services and that the work was hindered.

In addition, it was not clear that the arrested person was a press representative.

Another incident, of which there are also recordings, shows an emergency worker pushing and insulting a woman in the Frankfurter Tor subway station.

The incident was picked up by the Berliner Morgenpost, among others.

The police wrote on Twitter that “we are aware of the videos and the criticism of actions and statements by individual officers.

We take care of the matter «.

According to the Berlin police, high-quality cars burned during the night.

A connection with the left-wing protests is being examined, there has not yet been a letter of confession.

The State Criminal Police Office is investigating.

"Decentralized resistance actions" of the left-wing scene throughout the city were announced on the Internet.
