The ninth flight of Aerolineas Argentinas to Moscow in search of a new batch of doses of Sputnik V vaccines against the coronavirus left at dawn from Buenos Aires and
is scheduled to arrive in the Russian capital during the afternoon of this Thursday.

took off at 1.31 under the number AR1064 from Ezeiza
and it is estimated that its arrival at Sheremetyevo International Airport will be at midnight in Russia (approximately 18 Argentine time).
He will stay there for about five hours, to carry out the work of loading the vaccines, and will
finally land at the Ezeiza international airport this Friday at 17.35.
"Our work is just one more link in this chain of efforts that the national government has been making to acquire the doses of vaccines necessary to protect the population from this virus that is causing so much damage," said Pablo Ceriani, president of the company flag.
"We are prepared to do it and we do it responsibly because it is a task that requires us to rise to the occasion," he added.
Hours before it was known that in the next few days the first delivery of vaccines by the Covax system will take place.

Meanwhile, between Friday and Saturday, the distribution of the 306,000 doses of component 1 of Sputnik V -the one that is applied to start the immunization plan- that arrived in Argentina on Monday will begin.
These vaccines will be used "to strengthen the inoculation of people over 70 years of age," said a statement from the Presidency.

Aerolineas Argentinas had started its flights to Russia at the end of December and, according to data provided by Health to

, in the first two transfers 600,150 doses of Sputnik V arrived in the country, while in the third they were 220,000;
in the fourth, 400,390;
in the fifth and sixth they totaled 1,249,195.
The seventh shipment arrived in the country on Friday of last week, with 330,000 doses, while another 500,000 arrived on Monday afternoon.
In total, among the eight completed flights,
3,299,735 doses of Sputnik V were brought in.
In addition, Aerolineas Argentinas
made a flight to Beijing, in the People's Republic of China
, from where 908,000 doses of the vaccine produced by Sinopharm came.
Last Monday afternoon, the eighth Airlines flight from Moscow had arrived in the country with 500,000 new doses.
Since December, Aerolineas Argentinas has been conducting special flight operations with the aim of bringing vaccines to the country and in the 8 flights completed to date to and from the Russian Federation, a total of 3,299,000 doses of Sputnik V.
In addition, a flight was made to Beijing, People's Republic of China, in which 908,000 doses of the vaccine produced by Sinopharm arrived, with which the number of vaccines that arrived in the country on Aerolineas Argentinas flights is 4,207,000.
