(ANSA) - MOSCOW, MARCH 25 - About one million people in Moscas have been vaccinated against the coronavirus.

This was stated by the mayor of Moscow Sergei Sobyanin.

"We have already vaccinated about one million people, the vaccine is absolutely safe and very effective," Sobyanin said in an interview on Rossiya-24 television channel (VGTRK).

About 40% of vaccinated people in Moscow are elderly, he added.
