This documentary is announced as a plunge into the heart of the rapper's daily life, which will be discussed from an angle "that only his relatives know".
This desire is felt even in the realization which will be ensured by his brother Clément Cotentin, journalist for Canal + also known for having been a screenwriter on the series "Blocked".
But the latter will not be alone at the head of the project, since he will be able to count on the filmmaker Christophe Offenstein ("Les Petits Mouchoirs") who had already worked with the two brothers on the film "Comment c'est loin", in which the rapper plays alongside Gringe, with whom he forms the duo of Casseurs Flowters.
Prime Video looks back on Orelsan's eventful career
A true emblem for a whole generation, Orelsan has become in a few years one of the major figures of French rap.
But the artist's beginnings were particularly difficult, due to the legal proceedings launched against him by the Ni Putes Ni Soumises movement.
The latter followed the controversy generated by his title "Sale Pute", whose lyrics were accused of constituting a "provocation to crime".
Since his relaxation in 2016, Orelsan has been able to go up the slope to obtain a diamond disc for his album released in 2017 entitled "La Fête est Finie".
The artist has also received multiple awards during his career: an aspect that the documentary intends to address by evoking his rise to the top and the difficulty of staying there.
