But their salary should be manageable.

How much do master hairdressers, trainees & Co. really earn?

Cutting hair, advising customers and always being friendly and cheerful: Hairdressers * work hard for their money.

And yet they usually earn little: The hairdressing profession is one of the worst-paid training courses in Germany.

But even with professional experience, hairdressers regularly end up at the bottom of the salary rankings.

Hairdresser salary during training: how much do hairdresser trainees earn?

Those who complete their training in a barber shop bound by a collective agreement are

paid

according to the

tariff

, which varies depending on the federal state.

Since January 1, 2020, the

minimum wage for training

has been the lower limit for the training

During the three-year apprenticeship, the salary increases according to a fixed percentage after each year of apprenticeship:
