Today marks the second season of the drama series "Focus 911: Texas" about rescue and medical forces in Austin, the capital of Texas, starring one of the busiest actors on American television: Rob Lau.



Leo plays Owen Strand, a New York City fire station captain who previously participated in the rescue efforts in the twin disaster and subsequently contracted lung cancer.

In the first episode of the series he moves to Austin with his son, a young firefighter named T.

Kay (played by Israeli-American actor Ronen Rubinstein).

Each episode, firefighters and paramedics treat different cases, and the series follows their personal lives.

"Focus 911: Texas" aired in January 2020. It gained a cumulative rating of 14.5 million viewers and consistently maintained good viewing figures. The series was created by one of the most powerful people in the television industry, Ryan Murphy, who is in charge of series such as "American Horror" and "The Murder of Versace." 



Lau, who celebrated his 57th birthday last week, is in the midst of a successful comeback, which began in the 2000s with his casting for the "White House" series. Youth in the '80s Thanks to Movies Like "Volume Boys," "Friends," and "Handsome Handsome." But its popularity waned following a sex tape scandal that tarnished its name. "He worked for Ryan and Brad in 'American Horror,' and he was the one who recommended me for the job, even though everyone probably thinks it's the other way around and that I was the one who took care of pulling the strings for him."

According to Lau, he has been on Murphy's sights in the past.

"Ryan wrote for me one of the lead roles in 'Nip / Tuck' about the plastic surgeons, but my agents didn't even pass me the offer," he reveals.

"It's been 20 years since our relationship was on a small fire, until the right timing came. Now, as I read the scripts for the series, I realize how well they know me. My character is on a perpetual diet and he always takes care of body care and sunbathing, because let's face it, me and my appearance good friends".



Skin told Lau that "I learned that no matter what the project, as long as you are surrounded by good people - this is the place to be. I believe in the series from day one and I knew it would bring an audience.
