Anselm Kiefer, 76 years old since March 8, walks his world of Croissy-sur-Seine, in the Yvelines, like an explorer and a visionary.
Tonic silhouette of a swimmer, the artist has built cascading workshops in the old warehouses of La Samaritaine.
His paintings, his sculptures, his windows constitute his customary people.
He put up tetrapod hedges to prevent the Gypsies from invading his site where lead, concrete blocks, metal lie in abundance, raw materials awaiting metamorphosis.
When deconfinement arrives, the public will discover his lasting work at the Pantheon.
Until June 19, he can already see
Field of the Cloth of Gold
, at Gagosian's, at Le Bourget.
