After triumphing two days ago at the finish line in Sogliano al Rubicone, the Danish Jonas Vingegaard (Jumbo Visma) today also conquered the fourth and penultimate stage of the Coppi and Bartali International Week, which ran with start and finish in the Republic of San Marino .
Vingegaard won at the end of a narrow-ranks sprint at the end of a day that included an overall elevation gain of over 4,000 meters and preceded the young Spaniard Javier Romo (Astana Premier Tech) and the Australian Nicholas Schultz (Team Bikeexcange), for the third consecutive time on the third step of the podium in the race organized by Gs Emilia.
On the eve of the final stage Vingegaard leads the general classification with 7 "over Schultz and 11" over Hayter.
The finale will have the city of Forli as its theater, tomorrow, with start and finish in Piazza Aurelio Saffi, 166 km.
