"After more than a year without seeing each other, we have an infinite desire to get back on stage": Love of Lesbian, a popular rock band from Barcelona, said it a few days ago, but now the wait is over for them.
And it will be a live return in grand style, that of Saturday 27 March at the Sant Jordi building, in their city: in front of them, there will be 5,000 people, who will be able to listen to music and dance without having to respect social distancing.
This is not a clandestine event, but an experiment authorized by the city authorities and supported by specialists from the public health system of Catalonia.
The anticovid prevention measures for this event are well defined: all those who attend the event must have tested negative to an antigen test carried out in the previous hours (included in the total price of about 25-30 euros) and wear an FFp2 mask;
there will also be a ventilation system to ensure that it will be "safer to stay inside than out", as explained by the leaders of the initiative to the Spanish media.
Barcelona had already been the scene of a similar experiment in December, with an audience of 500 in the Apolo room.
In that case, no one was infected.
