The images chosen this week tell of a pandemic year, and are a mix of hope and remembrance.
The hope is represented by the vaccine, with the image of the Commissioner for the general emergency Figliuolo and the Head of Civil Protection Curcio who immunized themselves with AstraZeneca after the stop and the controversy following the suspension.
Another image of joy is linked to the preparations in India, in the city of Bhopal, for the Holi spring festival: the participants sprinkle themselves with colored powders in homage to spring.
And the hope is represented by the images that testify the commitment of the medical staff who have earned the candidacy for the Nobel Peace Prize for the commitment against the coronavirus in the wards of hospitals, assisted by nurses.
Finally, the symbolic images of the memory of the victims of Covid in Great Britain, with a candle also lit at 10 Downing Street, in Scotland, and in Prague with thousands of crosses drawn on the pavements of the old town
