While the human eye is sophisticated enough to discern a very wide range of colors, there is at least one color that we are unable to see unless we can manipulate our brain to do so.
Tiktok user Kate Bacon has detected a color we have never seen before, a blue-green pigment that the screens we watch are unable to radiate and are often diluted to a more familiar color - like turquoise.
The color is called "true cyan" and the name does not just sound familiar to you.
Cyan is one of the common colors of ink in printers, along with yellow and magenta and is obtained by mixing equal amounts of blue light and green light.
Cyan ink on paper does not look like a real cyan color and is closer to light blue - so what does it really look like?
If we had to describe it to you in words then as a glowing and dazzling light of blue and green, but why describe if the way was shown?
The Tiktok user explains how: "I'll show you a color you've probably never seen before," she says in the video, "it's called true cyan and most TVs and monitors are not capable of producing this pigment."

Pay attention to the instructions: watch the video in full screen, look at the white dot in the center of the red circle for the entire video.
After a few seconds you will notice a glowing ring surrounding the red circle - but do not stop looking at the dot at this point.
Keep watching it until the moment in the video where the red circle will shrink.
As soon as this happens you will clearly notice the new color on your screen - a kind of mesmerizing aura in a mesmerizing blue-green color.
