(ANSA) - RANGOON, MARCH 28 - New protests are taking place in various cities of Burma in the wake of the bloodiest day of repression since the coup on February 1, with at least 90 dead, including several children.
Unanimous condemnation by the international community which asked the military junta to stop the bloodbath. Waving Burmese flags, hundreds of people descended on the streets of Bago, northeast of Rangoon, and in the small town of Moe Kaung in the state of Kachin. Today, many funerals for yesterday's victims are planned across the country.
