229 people were diagnosed yesterday (Saturday) as being vaccinated against the corona virus, according to the Ministry of Health.
According to the latest data published by the ministry, 16,841 tests were performed yesterday to detect the virus - so that the rate of positive tests stands at 1.4%.
Since midnight, 6,492 tests have been performed, 71 of which have been found to be positive - and the rate of positive results stands at 1.1%.
The number of tests is lower than usual, probably due to Passover.
The data also show that there are currently 9,608 active Corona patients in Israel, 669 of whom are hospitalized.
468 of them are in critical condition, 241 in critical condition and 212 respirators.
5,220,509 residents received the first vaccine against the corona (56.14% of the total population), and 4,710,716 of them also received the second vaccine (vaccination rate of 50.66% of the total population).
Since the outbreak of the plague in Israel, 831,906 Israelis have been infected with the virus - 6,183 of them have died, two of them in the last day.
The infection rate is 0.6, and 270 health care workers have been found to be infected with the virus.
