The technical problems around the ZDF seem to have largely been resolved.

Just half an hour after the peak value, only a few hundred new reports were registered.
Shortly after 5 p.m., the value dropped to a very low three-digit number.
Users also reported in the comments and wrote “Everything is okay again” or “It works again”.

Munich - Especially in times of contact restrictions due to the corona pandemic *, the television is increasingly being used again as a popular pastime.
But many ZDF * viewers apparently looked into the tube on Saturday afternoon.

the reports regarding the restricted TV consumption of the Mainz broadcaster increased considerably.
Shortly after 2 p.m., a three-digit number of malfunction reports was received for the first time.
Fifteen minutes later there were more than 600 such cases.
The temperature curve experienced a really sharp rise around 3 p.m.
At half past three in the afternoon there were around 1,800 fault reports, at 4 p.m. even more than 2,600.
Massive disruptions in the ZDF program: "For hours a still image from the previous film"
In the comments on the homepage, users wrote, for example: “For two hours only sound and a still image from the previous film.” Accordingly, the problems seemed to exist primarily in the Franconian region, with Nuremberg, Aschaffenburg and Suhl in southern Thuringia as affected Places indicated.
But also a Leipzig television friend was annoyed with the technical pitfalls.
There was initially no reaction from the TV station itself.

The peak was reached shortly after 12 noon on the previous Saturday with around 500 problem cases.
The other days were therefore not comparable with the extent of the disturbances on this March 27th.
