The Ministry of Health this morning (Sunday) updated the morbidity data in Corona, which shows that there has been a dramatic drop in indices.

The data show that only 229 new infections were diagnosed yesterday.

In addition, the number of active patients in Israel for the first time in about four months stands at less than ten thousand people and now stands at 9,996.

Yesterday, only 16,828 tests were performed, which shows that the percentage of positives is 1.4.

Against this background, the infection coefficient in Israel is 0.6. 

Only 668 people are hospitalized in the hospitals, of which 458 are in critical condition and 209 are respiratory patients.

Meanwhile, the vaccination campaign continues.

The number of vaccinated in the first dose is 5,219,000 million, which constitutes about 56% of the population.

In the second dose, we have already vaccinated 4,708,000, which constitutes half of the total population. 

Since the outbreak of the plague, 6,180 corona virus patients have died in Israel.
