Francesca Marsaglia beats the competition in the female supergiant of the Absolute Italian Championships which will close today on the Santa Caterina Valfurva track.
The standard bearer of the Army Sports Center, at the first tricolor championship of her career in the specialty, finished the course with a time of 1'10 "34, with which she preceded by 7 cents Elena Curtoni, third position tied for Roberta Melesi ( Fiamme Oro Moena) and Nadia Delago (Group of Fiamme Gialle Skiers) at 39 cents.
Off the podium the Serbian Nevena Ignjatovic, Karoline Pichler, Laura Pirovano, Carlotta Da Canal, the Slovenian Ilka Stuhec and Vittoria Cappellini.
The latter won the Italian youth title and the stage of the Italian Grand Prix circuit (reserved for athletes born between 2000 and 2004 who are not part of national teams) in the same category, ahead of Alice Calaba (eleventh in arrival) and Lara Sellemond (sixteenth). The supergiant will be followed in the late morning by the dispute of the slalom heat for the assignment of the alpine combined title.
