It arises from the daily report published by the Ministry of Health, based on data uploaded by the provinces in the last 24 hours.
After exceeding 2.3 million infections and 55 thousand deaths, Argentina remains
among the 15 countries with the highest number of cases and deaths accumulated
since the beginning of the global health crisis.
The increase in cases in the country - the highest figure in two months was recorded on Friday - and in the region keep health authorities on edge, as they see the start of the second wave closer and closer.

Beyond the measures announced on Sunday - with a focus on teleworking in public employment - and those that it will eventually adopt in the next few hours, the Government wants the governors to show more initiative,
strengthen controls and take charge of eventual time restrictions

The head of advisers of the Buenos Aires Ministry of Health, Enio García, announced that the Province "evaluates" restricting recreational activities.
"The occupancy of intensive care beds increased and it could be said that the second wave began; it is a trend that does not see possibilities of going down at least in the short term," said García, in an interview with AM750.
The focus would be on recreational activities in closed spaces.
The official specified that the objective would be to apply "a series of
staggered measures
to try and see how the curve impacts."
