The upward trend in the prices of raw materials will lead to an increase in energy bills for the typical household in the second quarter of the year in protection of 3.8% for electricity and 3.9% for gas. According to Arera, for electricity the expenditure for the typical family in the year between 1 July 2020 and 30 June 2021 will be approximately 517 euros, (-0.7%) compared to the equivalent 12 months of the previous year. with a saving of about 4 euros on an annual basis; for the gas bill, the cost will be around 966 euros (-5.2%) with a saving of around 52 euros on an annual basis. The total annual savings will be around 56 euros.
