His derogatory remarks about Duchess Meghan cost Piers Morgan the job.
The British moderator, however, continues to stand by his statements, as he presented in the British tabloid "Mail on Sunday" in detailed diary entries in first-person format.
In it he emphasized again that he did not believe Meghan's statements: "The longer the interview lasted, the less I believed her."
On the program "Good Morning Britain" the presenter had questioned several statements of the Duchess the morning after the TV interview of the US talker Oprah Winfrey with Harry and Meghan, for example on depression and suicidal thoughts during her first pregnancy and racist mind games Son Archie.
He called her "Princess Pinocchio".
Now he repeated his criticism and added a few points, doubted the secret wedding before the official yes-word as well as Meghan's statement that she had never googled Harry.

After that morning show, more than 41,000 complaints were received by the British media regulator Ofcom within less than 24 hours, and experts and advice centers accused Morgan of trivializing mental illness.
According to consistent reports, Meghan herself apparently also submitted a letter of complaint.
A little later, Morgan had lost his moderation job.
