The story of a train condemned to endlessly circling the Earth after a climatic cataclysm.
A train that piles the poor into the tail cars and protects the rich in luxury compartments in the front.
The first half of the film, the rise of the train by a bunch of beggars, is in the purest Korean style.
Wild, bloody and baroque.
The second half, crossing thematic wagons (classroom, nursery, nightclub ...) to the mysterious Machine, mixes social satire and surrealism.
The cast participates in the strangeness of this railway Noah's ark.
