(ANSA) - TURIN, 29 MAR - The video-manifest created by independent artists in the evocative spaces of the Royal Palace (Turin) goes viral to reflect on the situation that the theater has been experiencing for more than a year and which is not just bringing an entire category of entertainment workers, but it is also depriving everyone of the opportunity to continue to nourish the mind and spirit.

The director Cosimo Morleo has created "The artist meets himself" to tell the nostalgia of the artist who is born from the urgency to focus the spotlight on this stalemate situation: the artist "is missing" and "we miss". The EkoDance Company - directed by Pompea Santoro - with the ecoreographies by Paolo Mohovich and the costumes by Jorge Gallard recounts this lack and this void with a poetic and elegant narration, accompanied by the Cantico dei Matti by Bianca D'Aponte (interpreted by Brunella Selo and Fausto Mesolella). Dancers and acrobats meet, first individually and then together, in the double role of visitors and artists in the museum's exhibition rooms and for the final scene on an imaginary stage in the Galleria Grande, at the same time the audience and artists. An impossible, unattainable, surreal encounter, but for this very reason extremely poetic. (HANDLE).
