After hours of a desperate search that lasted all night, this Sunday morning, 

Santiago Galdeano, the boy who had disappeared in a motocross field in Neuquén, was

found dead

. 

He was 3 years old. 

His body was found in an irrigation canal located about 200 meters from the place where he had been last seen.

Investigators believe

he drowned

 after accidentally falling into the waterway.

The news was confirmed by his relatives and the Police.
