Alessandro Florenzi and Marco Verratti will not participate in the away match in Vilnius, where Italy will play the third match of the qualifying round for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, on Wednesday against Lithuania.
The PSG players will leave their national team retirement tomorrow morning to return to France.
Verratti accused a blunt trauma to his left thigh in the match played last night in Sofia against Bulgaria: this afternoon he underwent medical and instrumental tests which confirmed his unavailability.
In the case of Florenzi, however, there is talk of fatigue and therefore, as a precaution, the player was excluded from the list of players called up for the next match.
The national team will start tomorrow morning at 10.45 from Sofia to reach Vilnius where, in the afternoon, the official training is scheduled preceded by the ritual press conference.
