For the workers of the delivery giant, paychecks, holidays, sickness and protection against accidents will arrive even if a part of the salary will remain anchored to the result and therefore to the deliveries made, "It is an important result - say Cgil, Cisl, Uil - which restores the right dignity to the activity of these workers, affirming rights and fair contractual protections. Just Eat Takeaway has agreed to apply the National Transport, Goods and Logistics Contract to the riders in full, agreeing with the trade union proposal and considering it suitable for their needs, articulating the various clauses and the need for greater organizational flexibility through a company agreement ".
The Just Eat riders thus become - explain Cgil, Cisl, Uil - subordinate workers, employees to whom they will be guaranteed: basic pay, linked to contractual minimums and not to deliveries, severance pay, social security, wage supplement in case of illness, accident, maternity / paternity, holidays, guaranteed minimum working hours, increases for extra work, overtime, holidays and nights, reimbursement of expenses for own use, appropriate dpi, also in reference to the pandemic moment in progress, and trade union rights.
