(ANSA) - BRUSSELS, MARCH 31 - "Many elements" of the reform of justice in Poland "violate EU law", Brussels' decision to appeal to the EU Court of Justice "is neither an ideological question of the left nor of the right" . This was said by the vice president of the EU Commission, Vera Jourova.
"I am deeply concerned by the continuing actions that undermine judicial independence in Poland. Despite the rulings of the EU Court and our numerous attempts to remedy the situation, the pressure on judges continues to grow", he stressed. (HANDLE).
