SIMONE CRISTICCHI, HAPPYNEXT- IN SEARCH OF HAPPINESS (LA NAVE DI TESEO +, PP 194, EURO 16.00)
Simone Cristicchi tries to explain what happiness is in a journey, together with the reader, who tries to grasp it both in the charm of big ideas and in the wonder of small things.
Happiness - what does it really mean?
What does it reside in?
Mankind has always concentrated its efforts to grasp it but rarely succeeds.
Driven by his inexhaustible curiosity, the singer-songwriter, writer and actor, winner of the Sanremo Festival in 2007 with 'I'll give you a rose', goes on a journey that has become a 'Happynext' book, out on April 1st for La nave di Theseus +.
The book is part of a larger project together with a theatrical show and a documentary film by Andrea Cocchi that reflects the work done in the volume.
And with interviews with Don Luigi Verdi, Guidalberto Bormolini, Marco Guzzi, Giulio Mogol, Antonio Calenda, Pino Doden Palumbo, Chandra Livia Candiani, Gianluca Nicoletti, Nicola Brunialti, Nadiamaria, Vincenzo Costantino alias Cinaski and a writing by Franco Arminio.
Simone Cristicchi, 'HappyNext' In search of happiness - Exclusive
Inspired by Pasolini's Comizi d'amore, Cristicchi, who has been the director of the Teatro Stabile d'Abruzzo since 2017, creates a path that develops in seven key words -
attention, slowness, humility, change, memory, talent, we
- in which find space for anecdotes, stories and interviews, which accompany us in the surprising discovery of the profound meaning of this research for each of us.
Sheltered from easy enthusiasm and hasty conclusions, through philosophy, meditation and faith 'Happynext In Search of Happiness' tells us about beauty, vitality, time, a sense of belonging and community, music and stories.
Among the shows made by Cristicchi, who was born in Rome in 1977, 'Marocchinate' of 2019, of which La nave di Teseo has published the book.
