(ANSA) - MILAN, MARCH 31 - "The Armani Group will be one of the first companies based in Lombardy to launch the anti Covid-19 vaccination campaign, as envisaged by the Regional Resolution no. XI / 4401": the same group announces it, in a note, explaining that "the campaign responds to the objective of reducing the burdensome work carried out by health facilities, ensuring that resources are used to increase assistance and care".
The vaccination activity will be carried out in the Armani / Teatro, a place that has always hosted the Group's fashion shows and which in February 2020, as soon as news of the Italian patient was received, was the setting for the first closed-door fashion show.
The vaccination - continues the note - will take place in the ways and in the times that will be communicated in the next few days and participation will be on a voluntary basis.
As soon as it becomes possible, vaccination will also be implemented in other regions.
"This initiative too - concludes the note - was strongly desired by Giorgio Armani in a perspective of service and proximity to his employees at a time that is still highly critical for everyone's health".
