.
It is the largest shipment received so far, since they will arrive from China
in a single
Aerolineas Argentinas

, as confirmed by Foreign Minister Felipe Solá.
Almost simultaneously, it became known that the flight that was to return from Russia with the eleventh batch of Sputnik V was delayed.
The reason?
The vaccines are not ready
.

The Ministry of Health had already anticipated that the shipment would be around a million doses, although until the last minute there was uncertainty about the logistics of the transfer.
An Aerolineas Argentinas plane is in Russia awaiting a new shipment from Sputnik V, which is delayed.
There is a direct antecedent, which is the first shipment that was brought from China.
This time, Sinopharm's burden arrived divided.
On February 26, an Aerolineas Argentinas flight arrived with 904 thousand doses.
Two days later, a remnant of 96,000 vaccines landed on an Air France plane.
This time, as confirmed by Felipe Solá in a message on Twitter, the
entire batch was loaded onto the Airbus 330-200
, registration LV GHQ, which is on its way to Argentina under flight number AR1051.
Another @Aerolineas_AR plane took off from Beijing with 1 million doses of Sinopharm.
It is the 2nd million that China sends and a big boost at a crucial moment in the vaccination campaign.
I thank Foreign Minister Wang Yi and the government of the People's Republic of China for their management.

setback
: when the Aerolineas Argentinas crew arrived in Moscow,
the vaccines were not ready
.
This forced to recalculate the plans and delay the return 20 hours.
Industry sources confirmed to
Clarín
that, if there are no new obstacles, the new arrival date will be
Friday at 11 in the morning
.
As has been the case with recent shipments, the number of doses is still unknown.
