To manage the situation, he defends the fact of only increasing the number of intensive care beds now.
“We are increasing the number of resuscitation beds available as the need for care increases.
But we sometimes do so to the detriment of the care given to other patients through deprogramming and reorganization.
What is needed is to always be one step ahead, that is to say always beds to welcome the sick, which is what allows us to ensure that there is no no sorting.

He also recalls that “we have 1,200 fewer intensive care patients in Ile-de-France than at the peak of the first wave.

The objective of the new measures is to have "a more serene spring" and to increase freedoms "from the month of May".
Olivier Véran once again calls on the French "not to take risks for yourself or for others", especially with meals with family or friends.
