The PlayStation VR 2 virtual reality headset gets its first game

2021-04-01T14:25:32.623Z

Announced by Sony on February 23 in an official statement published on the PlayStation blog, the PSVR 2 is expected to make its appearance on PS5

The information comes directly from David Villareal, CEO of Vankrupt Games.

During an exchange on his Twitter account, he said that

the flagship title of his studio could benefit from a port to the PlayStation VR 2

.

The game in question, named

Pavlov VR

, is still in early access on PC.

It is a multiplayer shooter, entirely designed to be played in virtual reality.

Currently, only holders of an Oculus rift VR headset, HTC Vive, Valve Index or a Windows Mixed Reality system can enjoy the downloadable game on the Steam platform.

If Pavlov VR is not compatible with the PSVR it is above all because the latter is not powerful enough to support the required configuration.

However, the PlayStation VR 2 promises better graphics and interactive performance.

Pavlov VR: the first game on PlayStation VR 2?

Based on the description on the Steam platform, Pavlov VR is said to be one of the most popular VR multiplayer shooter games on PC to date.

Many players compare it in particular to the famous FPS CS: GO or to the saga of Call Of Duty.

The game provides an entertaining experience, which also pushes players to use precision to achieve victory.

To fully benefit from it, it is therefore important to have a responsive and efficient VR system.

The future controllers that will be sold alongside the PlayStation VR 2 therefore seem to be a tool of choice, which could even strengthen the immersion thanks to various haptic feedback functions, such as those available on the DualSense of the PS5.
