(ANSA) - WASHINGTON, 02 APR - From the social profiles attributable to Noah Green, the Capitol Hill attacker, it would emerge that the 25-year-old probably suffered from disturbances.

On Facebook and Instagram, US media reported, he claimed to be afraid of the FBI and the CIA and to be in the sights of the federal government that wanted to gain control of his mind.

In several posts, an admirer and follower of Louis Farrakhan, an 87-year-old American religious, Muslim, leader of the Nation of Islam, was professed several times at the center of polemics for some of his speeches considered anti-Semitic, homophobic and misogynistic.

Green described Farrakhan as "Jesus, the Messiah" and his spiritual father.

A few hours before the attack, the 25-year-old, an infinity degree earned in 2019 at Christopher Newport University, Virginia, stated on Instagram that the US government is "enemy number one" for the African American community.

In an online abiography from his university days he wrote that the person in the story he wanted to meet was MalcolmX, and in some posts he signed himself 'Brother Noah X'.

Among the material published by Green, there is also a certificate attesting the donation of over a thousand dollars to the National of Islam and the videos of some of Farrakhan's speeches, one of which is entitled 'The divine destruction of America'.

"The Minister - commented Green referring to Farrakhan - is here to save me and the rest of humanity, even if this means facing death".
