Contagions from Covid 19 continue to rise among inmates.
In the space of a month they have almost doubled.
If on March 1st the positives were 410, on April 1st they reached 750. However, less than the peak reached in December with 1088 cases.
Outbreaks in prisons are also increasing and spreading.
The most serious situations in Reggio Emilia with 74 infected (of which 70 asymptomatic and four in hospital) and in Catanzaro with 72 positives (70 asymptomatic and 2 hospitalized).
There are a total of 7 prisons that have more than 50 infected each.
There are 59 in Pesaro, 54 women in Rebibbia, 55 in Padua (2 in hospital), 52 in Melfi and 51 in Asti.
