How far will the tolerance on interregional travel promised by Emmanuel Macron on Wednesday evening be applied?
"Our fellow citizens who wish to change region to go and isolate themselves will be able to do so during this Easter weekend", announced the Head of State during his address to the French.

Travel beyond 10 km without certificate this weekend?

From Saturday 7 p.m., and for four weeks, the rules in force in 19 departments will be extended to metropolitan France.

Since this tolerance only concerns daytime travel, from 7 p.m., the curfew rules will resume.

"Either you leave for four weeks, or you do not leave", clarified Thursday evening the Secretary of State for Tourism Jean-Baptiste Lemoyne.
In addition to the known derogatory reasons (professional, imperative family, health, disability, moving, judicial or administrative summons, transit to stations or airports), travel to accompany or pick up a child will however remain possible.
