Luck in misery: A little boy fell out of a window on the fourth floor of a house in Bad Kreuznach.
The one-year-old child was seriously injured in the fall from a height of around ten meters on Friday, but there is no mortal danger, the police said.
The boy climbed over an armchair to the open window and then fell down onto a strip of grass.
When the rescue workers arrived, the child was approachable and flown to a clinic in a rescue helicopter.
The parents would have opened the window to air and cleaned the apartment.
The incident is being investigated.
