The mood towards journalists has been aggressive at various "lateral thinkers" demonstrations in the past few weeks.

On Saturday, protesters attacked media representatives again in Stuttgart.

The ARD stopped a live interview on "tagesschau24" in the afternoon because demonstrators attacked the television team.

"Now stones are being thrown here, I think we have to cancel the live switch," said Stuttgart correspondent Thomas Denzel.

Previously, a demo participant had apparently hit a journalist from Dortmund in the face.

The newspaper publisher Waiblingen published a corresponding video.

The police say it is there.

The investigation into this continued, said the authority.

According to SWR, there were isolated further attacks on journalists, including an ARD television team on the grounds of the Cannstatter Wasens.

According to the German Association of Journalists (DJV), a journalist is said to have been injured.

"Once again, the self-proclaimed lateral thinkers have no inhibitions about attacking reporters as the target of their anger," said the DJV Federal Chairman Frank Überall.

He is furious about the apparent inaction of the police officers, "who do nothing to protect our colleagues."

In Stuttgart, thousands of people had gathered at a rally of the "lateral thinking" movement on the Cannstatter Wasen to demonstrate against the Corona requirements.

For the central rally in Stuttgart-Bad Cannstatt alone, the authorities had expected 2500 participants.

This number was clearly exceeded in the early afternoon, the Stuttgart police reported more than 10,000 demonstrators.

The "lateral thinking" movement and its comrades-in-arms speak out against the current corona measures.

The movement is being observed by the State Office for the Protection of the Constitution in Baden-Württemberg.
