(ANSA) - WASHINGTON, 03 APR - A super-sonic presidential aircraft, capable of flying over 2,200 kilometers per hour, with futuristic technology and a futuristic design that makes the old Concorde look like a vintage model.
A Californian startup, Exosonic, is working on it, to which the US Air Force has entrusted the project to develop the Air Force One of the future.
The images of the prototype of the new supersonic jet, both exterior and luxurious interior, were published by CNN. The aircraft will be able to carry up to 31 passengers. Leather seats, oak and quartz accessories, private suites for working and resting comfortably despite a speed double that of the Boeing 747s that currently serve as AirForce One and Air Force Two, the latter the aircraft assigned to the vice president.
