Tens of thousands of street checks as well as checkpoints and patrols with the aim of enforcing bans and ordinances on Easter and Easter Monday, in a sort of deja-vu last year

.

With the national red zone established by the new anti-Covid decree until Monday, Italy has returned to live everywhere a holiday weekend as in a lockdown.

But there are also those who in these hours have decided to break the rules with soccer matches, open gyms, birthday parties at the bar, raves and even protest picnics.

And beyond fines or provocations, on the political front, on the other hand, we are already looking to the next few weeks.

The governor of Lombardy, Attilio Fontana, in particular, says he is "convinced that the commitments that have been made will be respected and that this great operation will begin on 12 or 13 April and we will be able to say enough of these too many limitations that we are undergoing".

And Sileri seems to reassure: "in May many regions will be yellow and some will be white. From mid-April we should see a progressive decline in hospitalizations, and from mid-May - with the increase in vaccine administrations - we could see what he saw. in recent days Great Britain, or a number of deaths close to zero ".

In the first of the three days of stopping mobility on the street, the long queues, in some cities, of citizens waiting to enter the supermarket were especially noted.

In Turin on the sidewalks up to 25 people at a time stood in line waiting to enter bakeries, pastry shops and delicatessens.

Sales are booming, at local markets, at the stalls of sweets, fruit and vegetables, cheeses and cured meats.

In some neighborhoods, those who wanted to buy flowers or centerpiece arrangements for holidays, also happened to have thirty customers in front of them before their turn.

Even in Florence 'spontaneous' gatherings were created in front of supermarkets and markets, also as an effect of the quotas of the entrances and in other places the people standing to wait for the turn came to occupy the intersections of the streets: scenes that recall what was seen during the first lockdown of last spring. The task of the 70,000 law enforcement officers in the field is also to ensure that travel is prohibited even in their own Municipality, if not for urgency, physical activity close to home or to visit relatives or friends in a maximum of two people (cohabiting children under 14 are not considered in the count).

There was no shortage of crafty people, especially in the seaside resorts.

Among the episodes, those of Catania, where a soccer match with numerous spectators and a birthday party in a bar were interrupted in two distinct operations by the carabinieri: their arrival caused a general stampede.

The military blocked a rave party organized in Palermo with a tam tam on social media while in Carrara, Tuscany, eleven of them were caught lifting weights in the gym: some of them also came from outside the city to train.

In the previous days, the carabinieri were suspicious of the comings and goings of people in gymnastic gear, photographed before they entered the gym, where the windows had been darkened.

The video of the abusive picnic in Minori, on the Amalfi coast, has already become viral, where the mayor of the town - after having tried with the help of the traffic police to make the diners desist - threw the tables away.

The outdoor lunch was organized by the #IoApro movement made up of merchants who call themselves 'economically exasperated'.

"You can go on vacation abroad but you can't eat a sandwich out by the sea", explained the organizers in the film.

In Sardinia, on the other hand, there is already a system of health checks in the island's ports and airports, introduced when the island was in the white zone, still in force for those who land on the regional territory: a protocol that, in fact, could anticipate what it will be the green pass, the European pass that will allow people who have swabs to travel with a negative result.
