Georgia announced a few weeks ago that it will receive vaccinated passengers, and here El Al announced today (Sunday) that it will operate three direct flights to the state capital, Tbilisi, starting on April 18.
Flights from Tel Aviv will operate on Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday, while flights back to Tel Aviv will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
The price according to the company will be from $ 198 for a plane ticket in economy class.
The first flight is expected to take off next Sunday, April 11th.
Georgia allows passengers with Israeli passports to enter.
Immunized passengers may enter the country by presenting an official vaccination certificate in English.
Unvaccinated Israeli passengers will be required to have a corona check at their expense in Georgia on the third day of their stay.
All passengers are required to have a corona examination within 72 hours before departure and to fill out a health declaration on leaving and entering Israel.

Flexibility in card changes
Tbilisi joins the other EL AL destinations that operate: New York (JFK and EWR), Los Angeles, Miami, Paris, London, Seychelles, Dubai, Amsterdam, Brussels, Kiev, Moscow, Berlin, Frankfurt, Athens and Larnaca.
EL AL will allow flexibility in ticket changes: Passengers who purchase a flight ticket until 30.6.2021 will be allowed to make a change in their ticket without change fees (there may be price differences) for another flight departing until 30.4.2022 if they cannot fly.
All passengers are asked to be updated with information about the entry guidelines for Georgia and Israel, and with the guidelines of the Ministry of Health and the blue sign.
