Absolute domination of Sam Lowes in Moto2.

The British rider won the Doha motorcycle grand prix, the second in Qatar on the Losail track, thus repeating the success achieved last Sunday in the first round of the world championship.

Behind him the Australian Remy Gardner.

The two engaged in an exciting duel in the final laps, with Lowes in the lead and his rival chasing him more and more closely enough to sign the best race time on the last lap.

But it was too late to aim for the final overtaking.

At the start it was Marco Bezzecchi who took the best shot and took the lead to set the pace, then Lowes came out and never let go until the end.

At the finish line, third place for the Spaniard Raul Fernandez, fourth Bezzecchi, then the Japanese Ai Oura, then Augusto Fernandez.

Three other Italians are also in the top ten: Celestino Vietti seventh, followed by Stefano Manzi, while Fabio Di Giannantonio finished tenth.

Many crashes in this test: the American Joe Roberts went off the track first, then it was the turn of the German Marcel Schrotter and the British Jake Dixon who touched each other and ended up on the asphalt, the Spaniard Aaron Canet also on the ground while he was fighting for fifth place a few laps from the end.

    No one was damaged.

With this victory, the second in a row, Lowes leads the world rankings with full points, i.e. 50 points, followed by Gardner with 40, and Raul Fernandez with 27.
