(ANSA) - TUNIS, APRIL 04 - A batch of 101,250 doses of Russian Sputnik V vaccine arrived today in Libya at Tripoli Mitiga airport. This is the first shipment of anticovida vaccines to arrive in the North African country. This was announced by the Minister of Health of Tripoli, also publishing a video of the batch unloading operations on Facebook.


    "Thank God, we were able to import the first batch of coronavirus vaccines," Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibah wrote on Twitter, assuring that more doses are on the way.


   "I ask the Libyan people to book through the national vaccination portal," he added. According to data from the Libyan Ministry of Health, the cases confirmed since the beginning of the epidemic are 16.2294 and the dead 2737. (HANDLE).
