(ANSA) - WASHINGTON, APR 04 - The US health authorities announced that on Saturday over 4 million doses of vaccine were administered to Americans in just 24 hours, a new record in the vaccination campaign of the Biden administration which aims to vaccinate 200 million people in first hundred days of the mandate of the new president.
The doses administered so far in the US are over 161 million.
But there is still strong resistance in the country, with a strong No Vax especially among the Republicans, as emerged from several polls in recent weeks. Like the one conducted by public television PBs, according to which 41% of conservative voters still do not plan to get vaccinated.
