Do you dream of stopping saying "no" to your children ten times a day?

Netflix did.

The American platform has just put on line “Yes Day”, a nice and funny family comedy which will make the youngest fantasize and make them laugh out loud.

Worn by Jennifer Garner (the star of "Alias" ...), excellent in the role of the overwhelmed mother and queen of the "no", the film will also make parents smile, who will feel a little less alone!

In the photo, Allison Torres (Jennifer Garner) and her husband Carlos (Edgar Ramírez) display a perfect life: they are beautiful, like their three children, Katie, Nando and Elie.

They still seem very much in love and live in a beautiful house.

Of course, relations are strained between the mother and her teenager who dreams of escaping from the cocoon, but nothing too serious.

Say yes to everything and have fun like never before

Everything changes when the parents are summoned by the teachers and Jennifer Garner discovers herself screaming all the time "no" to her children in a video.

The latter is signed by her 12-year-old son who does not hesitate to call her a dictator.

It's the last straw that broke the camel's back: no question of ending up as a hysterical mother on YouTube!

Vexed and exhausted, she decides to follow the advice of a teacher and agree to organize a "Yes Day".

For twenty-four hours, parents undertake to respond favorably to all of their children's requests.

Of course, there are rules: you can't claim anything dangerous or illegal, budgets are limited and you can't go more than 30 km from the house.

But above all, the family should have fun like never before.

Good feelings, but a well-paced story

Ice cream tasting competition, giant paintball game and trip to the amusement park, the dream day is organized according to the wishes of the youngest.

Unsurprisingly, it ends up derailing and both parents are then essential ... Even if the film is dripping with good feelings and even if the clichés are picked up with a shovel, this family comedy that we can watch with very young people, from 5 years old, can be seen with pleasure.

The story is well paced and the actors all hold the road, starting with Jennifer Garner as an uninhibited mother and Jenna Ortega who plays her rebellious teenager.

It seems that banning the “no” for a day frees children and gives them a brief sense of autonomy… In any case, many will claim their “Yes Day” after seeing this film.

They will be reminded that adults are sometimes right to say no!
